My name
is Tracey and I am 44 years old. I am married,
and also
the
mother
of two children: Joshua, age 18, and Davey
Lyn, age 9. "Thank-you Lord for blessing me with
the most wonderful gifts that fulfill my life."
I was born and raised in the great state of Indiana. I
am a former member of Sweet Adelines International, which
is a group of ladies that sing music, barbershop style,
4-part harmony. I joined Sweet Adelines at age 13,
and have won many medals and I even went to London, England
to compete at the age of 14 and sang at the Royal Albert
Hall! I sang in a quartet for 5 years, having won
our Regional Competition in 1987, and then placing 14th
(out of 56, I believe) in the entire world that following
year. I miss quartet singing very much!
My main interests include: my children, music such
as barbershop harmony, Gospel, (*Gaither Productions*),
Ernie Haase & Signature Sound Quartet,
Billy
Gillman, Norah Jones, Eva Cassidy, Rod Stewart, K.D. Lang,
Michael Buble' and TONY BENNETT!!!
I also
enjoy writing poetry, crocheting, collecting
primitive country crafts, giraffe's, and creating &
building websites! I am a proud
christian, a true Virgo, my favorite colors
are "light pink" and
"green", my favorite number is 7, and my
favorite flower is "a pink rose". I guess I could best describe
myself and would want to be remembered as "a true friend".
...........
I
am married to David and he is 46 years old. He is from
the beautiful state of North Carolina and moved to Indiana
11
years ago to share his life with me!
We were blessed with
the birth of our daughter "Davey Lyn" on October 22nd, 1998!
She was certainly a "mommy's girl" the first 3 years of her life, but since daddy became disabled and mommy has since, and continues to work full-time, she has become "Daddy's girl" andeven looks just like her daddy's clone! They truly have a special bond.
David is a very
multi-talented individual with many different professional employment
backgrounds. His interests include:
Law Enforcement, computers, sports, (Green Bay Packers & Atlanta Braves),
variety of music and cooking! (he's GREAT at that!!) Since David has been disabled for the past
5 years,
I am the one who has gone to work full-time and I build web sites on my days off. David is now "Mr. Mom" and although his disabilities are painful, he thoroughly enjoys the bond that he and Davey Lyn now have. He says he wouldn't change THAT for the world. We feel it has been a blessing in disguise.
